Phase 1 of Chimney Swift Tower Completed

NWAMN is constructing a Chimney Swift Tower at the Illinois River Watershed Partnership headquarters at Cave Springs.  The project is financed in part by a grant from the Arkansas Audubon Society.  Phase 1 was getting the foundation poured and the base readied for placement of the tower.   Pictured below is NWAMN former President, Ralph Weber, and his son-in-law, Dwight, who provided the cement mixer and expertise to get the foundation in place.  The NWAMN team worked on the project from 10 am till 7:30 pm last Thursday.   Other members of the NWAMN Chimney Swift Tower Team are Ken French, Steve Sampers, Tim McGee and Warren Fields.  To learn more about Chimney Swifts, click here:   We will keep you posted as our progress continues.
