Northwest Chapter Joins Hobbs State Park for Green Friday

Ginger Candrilli brought her extensive insect exhibit to Green Friday.

Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalist volunteers were happy to support the Hobbs State Park Green Friday event on November 24, 2017.  As an alternative to black Friday, this annual event provides family oriented crafts, hikes, and educational exhibits.

Master naturalists provided their expertise at the insect, animal pelt, and toy exhibits.  Some members, dressed as wildlife, provided a welcoming committee, while other members talked with interested prospects at our master naturalist recruiting booth.

Attendees and volunteers alike enjoyed their day after Thanksgiving at this event.
