FAMN tackles South Fork Nature Center

On June 3rd six partners from the Foothills chapter of Arkansas Master Naturalists bushwhacked the aggressive growth of the unwanted flora and fauna on South Fork hiking trails. The leaf blower, chain saw and weed eater made considerable progress during the 4 hour assault on pine needle build up on the trails, grass growth blocking paths and downed cedars needing trimming. Some of the more agile of the group even climbed on top of the cabin and raked the trash off that had built up on the roof.
