The BRT is challenging and beautiful. National Park Service asked us to clear 13 miles of BRT, to prepare trail for upcoming Buffalo River Biathlon and Trail Marathon events. We will clear three sections on different Thursdays. North section is Dillards Ferry to Spring Creek Road, 6.1 miles linear. Middle section is Spring Creek Rd to South Maumee Road, 5.3 miles linear. South section is 2.5 miles from So. Maumee Rd to Little Rocky Creek. We finished the middle section January 4, one down, two to go!
Bring a sack lunch and plenty of water as we will work from 9AM to 2 PM and have lunch on the trail. Invite a friend. Bring work gloves, loppers, clippers, or use our power tools. Record your hours code 211 Trail Cleanup/maintenance, sponsor National Park Service. For information, call Roy at 870/736-0505. Cell phone reception unreliable on trail and rendezvous point.
