NCAMN – Buffalo River Cleanup – Grinder’s Ferry

Join the Buffalo National River Partners for a fun day on the river! Register with BNRP on-line at the link below. Looking for a way to give back to the Buffalo National River? Join members of BNRP and other supporters for a river clean up on Monday, August 28 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Meet at the Grinder’s Ferry launch and be sure to bring grabbers, shovels or other tools to get items out of the river. Bags will be provided for trash (e.g., cans, paper, etc.). Bring a sack lunch, water and any other items you will need for your comfort.
Buffalo National River has arranged with the great folks at Silver Hill to donate canoes and shuttles for those who might need one to help with the clean up. If you’d like to help but need a canoe, please indicate on your registration. The clean up is limited to 25 participants (canoes). If you’d like to participate, please fill out the volunteer form on the BNRP web site (link below). Include your name, email and phone and then click “send.
We will meet at Ginders Ferry Launch at 9 AM. Silver Hill will have the requested canoes there and will shuttle us back to pick up our cars from Gilbert. Car Poolers will leave from Flippin Walmart at 8 AM.
