NCAMN – 2017 Trails Day Float/Cookout
June 4 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
NCAMN will again celebrate National Trails Day with a Buffalo River float and
cookout on Sunday, June 4, 2017. We will float from the Hwy 14 bridge
(Dillard’s Ferry) to the Rush access, an approximately 9 mile float which will
take about 3-4 hours. The shuttle has been arranged with an outfitter and
rental canoes and kayaks will be available. Contact Ron Beasley
(firstname.lastname@example.org or 870-580-0043) to indicate whether you are bringing your own boat(s) or if you need to rent canoes or kayaks. You also must indicate if you are bringing guests and all names are required. The cookout is planned to be held as soon after the float as people return to the pavilion and the burgers and brats can be cooked. You must also indicate if you are coming to both the float and the cookout or only to one of them. You need to bring no food or lunch for the river. Costs for the cookout are expected to be as reasonable ($10 or less) as can be achieved. The cookout will held at Pavilion 1 at Buffalo Point. Further details such as directions will be communicated by email. If you are not registered, you will not receive the later email updates with final details, directions, and important river regulations. Contact Ron or Carol Beasley (email@example.com or 870-580-0043) if you have questions.
