On Sunday, June 25, Pinnacle Mountain State Park hosted its first ever Volunteer Appreciation Day, an event to recognize and appreciate the volunteer organizations that support the park.
In a message from Park Superintendent Ron Salley, he said, “All of the groups who volunteer and freely share their- time, resources, knowledge, skills and ability were present…
· Partners For Pinnacle (Thanks for providing and cooking the food).
· Master Gardeners (Thanks for sharing your power point).
· Central Arkansas Master Naturalist (Thanks for sharing your photos).
· Friends of the Ouachita Trail.
It was awesome to have our commissioner John Gill present…(the event is his brain child)!! We also want to thank you for the outstanding cake!
It was an awesome day … sharing good memories, excellent accomplishments and high spirits… The very best!”
CAMN was well represented.
