You couldn’t ask for more sloppy conditions than the bluebird field at PMSP Saturday for the bluebird box clean out event.
About fifty boxes were checked, repaired, or replaced.
About a dozen showed evidence of bluebird nesting from the last nesting season. Some others indicated nesting of other bird species.
13 CAMN volunteers dressed in blue along with Kellie Nichols (PMSP Interpreter) showed up and got the job done.
Some of us got to see a huge flock of pelicans on the Big Maumelle River. Quite a site.
